Shuttle may be a dominant force and marketing machine in the SFF industry, but the past few years have seen new manufacturers emerging to challenge them for consumer dollars and product coverage.  Soltek is one of these, and with their “QBiC” brand aim to get a piece of the pie.  The one that we are looking at today is the aptly named “Mania” version of their EQ3901-300PW base structure. 

The Mania?s exterior is the only difference between it and other Soltek SFF?s.  Soltek?s goal is to generate interest with wild colour schemes and formed plastic that would be difficult and expensive to do in metal.  That way Soltek saves on design costs by making two very different looking SFFs to appeal to different users, while keeping the motherboard and chassis identical.  If this one we are looking at today is too much of an eyesore for you, keep in mind they have a more laid back and professional looking version as well for sale.
